Cambridge Advanced is designed for learners aged 16 to 19, providing the in-depth study needed to prepare for success at university and in higher education.
Program Overview
- Specifically designed for learners aged 16-19
- Students must complete a minimum of 7 credits to earn the Cambridge A Level
- Recognised by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) as equivalent to a +2 qualification
- A diverse range of subjects, including Physics, Mathematics, Business, Economics, IT, and Psychology, with English as a mandatory subject.

A Flexible and Rigorous Curriculum
Students are required to take a minimum of 7 credits, with each AS Level subject providing one credit and its A Level continuation providing a second. With guidance from our counsellors, students can tailor their studies, choosing from a wide array of subjects. Subject changes are permitted only within the first two weeks of Grade 11 to ensure academic focus
Clear Examination & Assessment
Oasis International School will offer exams in May-June only. However, students may choose to take the November series of exams to improve their grades only. Please note that the March Series of exams will not be offered.
Defined Standards for Success
To be eligible for CAIE examinations, students must maintain at least 80% attendance and achieve a grade of ‘D’ or better in each subject. Furthermore, to gain entry into Indian universities, students must meet the criteria set by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), which requires at least 5 IGCSE passes and 2 or 3 passes at the GCE A Level.
