Scheduled orientations have been conducted on both the Hennur and the HBR campuses. It gave us an opportunity to share with our parents the exciting things planned for the year ahead. We were able to share details about the extensive Cambridge Curriculum taught in the Primary, Secondary and Higher Secondary grades. Teachers spoke about curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities that are part of learning on the Oasis campus EDFINITY, Creya, PODs( Potential Opportunity Development of Success), Bala Janaagraha and the (SLP) Service Learning Programme was discussed extensively in the programme. The Career Counselling sessions that have been conducted regularly were spoken about. In February of this year the Career Counselling Laboratory and Library was inaugurated. This has led to a renewed and extensive focus on Career Counselling among the students. We start with talking about aspirations in Grade 6. The higher classes are exposed to in-house sessions and visiting universities who talk about subject choices and career options.
The Student Assistance Programme (S.A.P) was introduced to the parents and it’s features were spoken about. We hope that the introduction of the S.A.P will lead to a healthy environment among our students, teachers and parents that will lead to enhanced learning and resilience within the Oasis environment.
It was an interactive session with the parents asking us about our plans for the students as well as feedback on the excitement among the students about the blended learning features that are part of learning on the Oasis campus
