As part of Service Learning Programme for Grade 7A on the topic ‘Health and Hygiene’ in coordination with NGO – Project Smile, a free Medical Camp was organised at Bhoopsandra on 17th November, 2018. Students created awareness by performing skits on the ill effects of various addiction, domestic violence, roadside/street garbage disposal, malnutrition consumption of food lacking in nutrition etc; and their possible solutions. The students also cleaned up the area along with Project Smile volunteers.
Dr.Taha Mateen , a medical doctor by profession and a renowned intellectual personality of Bangalore , spoke to the students on the topic ‘ Choose Respect ‘ as part of the Service learning project of Gd 7 B at Oasis on the 14 th feb .The students played a movie they had shot , under the guidance of the class parent leader , in school to create awareness and advocate ‘respect for All’ . They took a pledge to be the Ambassadors of Respect .
