Yes We Care… The Service Learning Program for grade 5 students was planned keeping in mind the school’s vision of making our students conscious of their responsibility towards the less fortunate and to become the contributing members of the society.
The students,their parents and teacher’s raised funds for ROTI CHARITY TRUST.
This trust serves free meals to patients and their attendees at various hospitals of Bangalore like Nimhans, Rajiv Gandhi and Indra Gandhi hospitals
The trust is run by Mr. Gulab along with his team.They serve two meals everyday to around 350 people who come here from all over India for their and their relatives treatment to these hospitals.
Our students got an opportunity to serve meals along with Mr Gulab. They also donated 200 plates to the organisation. Mr Gulab is indeed a great inspiration for our students.
This event was also attended by Asst.Commissioner of Police Mr. Sajjad khan, Mr. MC Abbas and Mr.Sharayar Khan who encouraged our students to engage in community service.
